What can I do when my Heatline C24 boiler continuously cuts out?

My Heatline C24 boiler repeatedly cuts out with the flames or gas failure fault light flashing. This can happen 5 times a day and can take up to 10 attempts to reset. The plumber says he cannot do anything to fix this as no other light is flashing to show where the fault lies. Surely something is wrong with it, but how do we find out?

faulty gas valve it most likely on its way out. see if u can see a spark occurring but then doesnt light then its the gas valve. if theres no spark then it not the gas valve look at spark electrodes
