We have a 2005 trafic which was running fine until last night.
We had been driving and parked up to pop into a shop when we got back in the engine was turning over fine but no acceleration even with foot to the floor.
20 min later it was fine and managed to get home.
It has been put on a computer today and has shown no real problems.
Any suggestions would be appreciated as the mechanic has recommended a new fuel pump.
It is hard to determine your fault and I would not like to doubt your mechanic also who must have reasons for thinking it is the fuel pump but it will probably be very expensive with no guarantees it will sort your fault if it is a guess
