how can i fix my fisher paykel IW712 washing machine?

I had to replace the rotor sensor and did this no problems. The machine done 5 full loads with no problems and then it wouldn't switch on, no sign of life at all. I removed the main board and found the soldered in fuse was blown. I removed this fuse from the board and soldered in a fuse holder and put in a new fuse. The machine then turned on and we started a load, got to filling and after a minute or two the fuse blew again. replaced fuse and this time it blew while i was running the set up procedure. I have replaced the main board before but there was obvious damage, blown components on the board and a smell. This time the board looks fine and no smell, just blown fuse.
