Mend Broken Switch Light

My shower cord has broke ?

Hi was wondering if somebody could advise me on how to fix my shower the cord to switch it on has snapped same as a light switch cord but for the shower not sure how to fix it can anybody advise me please

if it snapped at the very top then you have to replace the switch,if its snapped in the middle then just tie a bit of string on it
