The radiators on my system will not switch off,everything was fine till yesterday and I thought it was the room thermostat as it was causing interferance on our radio through the mains supply. I bought and fitted a new thermostat but the radiators still keep getting hotter even with the room thermostat off, which results in having to turn the heating off. I would appreciate any suggestions as to what might be the cause.
Thanks for your reply Mike, sorry I have not answered this before now as I have been away.You were correct in your diagnosis and I have now had a new valve fitted.

turn your hot water off aswell and see if they go cold, if they do then your 3 port valve is faulty, if not and the boiler still ignites then the actuator on the valve is stuck
