sandy dishes?

you must live in england,we dont use or need water softener or salt in scotland,the spray arms should be cleaned out at least once a week,or they will retain bits of food that get blasted back onto ur plates and esp glasses and cause a frosty sheen of ur glasses ,when i worked for hoover,we found finish powder use to grind the spray arms down,and only time i ever found foreign matter like sand in machine was when there was water works in street,some one had cut pipes and rubbish got in,
