1995 ldv 400 2.5 diesel turbo starts on key wont shut down on key

you need to check that there is no electrical feed to stop solenoid when ignition is off.if not then solenoid needs removing and checking/cleaning,if there is a feed when ign is off,check wiring as there may be a diode in the circuit that has failed.
