Hot Aquarious dryer ..drum not turning, banging noise..still heats up?

Anyone know hwat could be the problem its an 8kg front opening one model...TCM 580...can I fix it?

undo the small cover at the back and see if the bush and shaft are worn , if so you will have to get them replaced
