Miele T454 Tumble Dryer not heating?

Hiya im in a pickle. Am fixing a friends t/d and have it in bits and not sure where to go next. Because it wasnt heating up i figured first stop the thermostats and heater element. well both stats and element check out on the multimeter as fine, tested individually and together. Next stop looked at the ntc thermistor in the front and that checked out on the meter too. So now im flummoxed as all the cables and connections look fine?! The temperature selector switch is a pcd but it doesnt have any burn marks however the only other apparent defect other than the lack of heat is the internal drum light bulb has blown.

Any help anyone can offer would be epic
