Mend White Knight CL411GR Fit Tumble Dryer

tried to fit new heating element to white knight tumble dryer?

bought new element for white knight dual tumble dryer
when trying to fit the element was found to b too big by 1/2 inch if placed in brackets it doesnt stay an when machine turned on the element expandes and rubs at the drum foned company who i bought it off to b told that they are all the same size [dont think so] its a white knight dual heat tumble dryer modile no CL411GR

yes its the twin element and the fittings were put in the correct /original position when i measured the old and new element the old 1 was 14inch in diametre but the new 1 is 14.5 inchs with the four prong neck of the element about 1/2 inch longer than the original too
any way to make this fit

If its the big round twin element then yes they are the same.have you fitted the mountings for the element correctly?.
