Stoves code 56 help?

Hi, I have replaced capacitor c17 and code 56 has now cleared and the hob panel works great without the glass cover on, however as soon as i fit this it wont detect my finger on the glass. I have checked the alignment and height etc, have tried every different option for fitting the 3 leg springs etc and it looks like the pcb springs are in contact with the inside of the glass cover when this is fitted but it just wont power up through the glass, any ideas?, have i missed something obvious?.
