How can I fix my Smokey Shogun??!!?

I have a '94 3.5V6 Shogun, she has done nearly 150k miles and is burning oil. I think it's probably ring wear. Do any of the "wonder cure" additives - Restore, etc - actually do any good at reducing smoke and oil consumption without clogging and sludging up the works?
