Mend Veritas 8 Compact House Alarm System

House Alarm System .... ?

I have got a Veritas 8 Compact alarm which has been installed in the property for nine years. This alarm is very rarely used .. we had a power cut this week and now the power light is flashing?

If I try a reset will this stop the light flashing ???
