Radiators not heating?

Hi
Can someone help me please, i put my central heating on yesterday and this morning i found my radiators were cold,when i looked at the boiler the red lights for the heating and hot water were on at the timer but there was no pilot light on.The room stat was showing 20 and set for 24 and i had hot water, being a young single mum i have no idea what to do , can anyone please help me
