Mend Morphy Richards 42279 Steam Generator Iron

Morphy Richards steam generator elite 42279 standby issue?

My iron heats up but when you press the steam trigger it goes into standby mode and bleeps.

Can't get it off of standby when trying to get the iron to steam.

We've looked everywhere for a reset button but can't find one
