Remove the fast speed outlet cover at the top back of the machine and remove the 3 cheese head screws securing the chrome ring.
Lay the mixer on it's side and remove the locking pin (the one you push in to raise the body) taking care not to lose the spring and circlip. The body will now open further.
Remove the screw securing the terminal cover and undo the twin wires.
Remove the small screws holding the motor cover in place and remove. Use a long flat blade screwdriver and unscrew the 4 cheese head screws securing the motor, visible inside towards the top of the machine alongside the motor. Then may not come out easily so leave them after unscrewing them. The motor should now slide out but may be stiff because of rubber mountings having become stuck. Wiggle back and forth and it should come out.
