Mend Kenwood KDW234A Dishwasher Power Select

Although the dishwasher has power, I cannot select a program and let it run?

Kenwood dishwasher KDW234A. I can turn the machine on and the lights come on. They then turn off above the programmes which is normal but I cannot then press the button to select a program. Is this due to low water pressure?
