Mend Zanussi ZT685 Dishwasher Power Light

How to fix my Zanussi ZT685 dishwasher?

The power light is on, but you cannot select any of the wash cycles - nothing happens when you press the buttons.

I've replaced the control panel with a new one (not cheap) which allowed me to run a rinse cycle, but then after the end of the cycle, it would not allow any more cycles to be selected, so I'm back where I started.

My electrician can't understand it - can anyone else suggest what the problem is?

Hi,
I also have this problem with my dishwasher, I recently replaced the drain pump assembly after it packed in. I was under the impression that once a replacement pump was installed everything would be back to normal.
Despite which dishwasher washing programme i choose, towards the end of that programme the "Quick 50 Deg" LED flashes quickly to indicate a fault and the water is lying and not draining away.
I've checked the drainage hose, connections from the washer to the sink as there is no blockage or restrictions.
The dishwasher worked for about a week after the new pump was installed, but now has this persistant fault.
I have checked the user manual and other website for a possible solution.
Any further comments or assistance would be appreciated.

zanussi ZT685 water lying in the machine wont drain away ive checked hoses etc is there another filter somewhere i can check please?

This model is discontinued,due to a pump desin fault,sounds like this is your problem,Contact Zanussi directly they will offer at least 20% off your next Zanussi D/W

The door lock is probably set to closed. This is the white T shaped bar in the centre of the door. flick this forward and this should sort out the problem.....I know It just happened to mine
