my kenwood kcd1w anti clockwise rattle?

Hi my Kenwood KCD1W drum is making a loud grinding noise when on its anti clockwise cycle.

bit strange, but its possible something like the underwire from a bra has fallen in the space between the metal drum and the plastic housing. it would run smooth one way, and catch in the opposite direction. im not sure how to take the seal out to look, but i would start at that point. hope this helps somewhat.
