MY WHIRPOOL WILL NOT SPIN AT ALL, IT JUST FILLS UP WITH WATER ?

My Grandmother had the same problem with a 1000 spin Tricity Bendix, it was indeed a loose belt and was simple to correct, however, the prblem was after it was fixed, it became very prone to becoming loose again. She ended up bining it, and buying a 1600rpm Méile washer, 5yrs ago and not a problem since. There top quality.

When you say that it won't spin, do you mean that the drum doesn't rotate when in the spin cycle or do you mean that it never rotates - either during the wash or spin cycles?. If it never rotates then it may be something simpe like a broken or loose belt or something more expensuve like a burnt out motor or controller board. Also , if the drum never rotates, does it move freely if rotated by hand (unplug machine before trying this).
