i have a grohe cistern it keeps leting water through when filling up thebwater gets so high it leeks. brought a new discharge piston and seal swoped them over it still leaks as before what could it be

there must be a water level adjustment on or near the water in let which controls the float and water level so look for it adjust so it reduces the water level. all cisterns have them or they would overflow.
