Starting a Petrol Mower?

I have been given a TECUMSEH, Labelled Petrol Mower, but it will not start, I have pu fresh fuel in, but obviously cant get Unleaded now so should I put some 2 stroke Additive in ?

The plug looks OK but going to a new one, is there anything else to check, as I do not have a Manual ?
