Mend Hot Water Turn Central Valve

why have i no hot water?

When i turn the hot water tap on the water is constantly cold. But when i put the central heating on the valve solinoid activates and the central heating works. Could anyone tell me why my central heating works but no hot water.P.s there is plenty of water pressure as well.
