First you must trace and correct the tamper fault,done any DIY carpets etc of late?,

How's about telling us what LED's are lit (tamper we know)and if any are flashing,we need to know the status of your system, going on your description you have LED remote keypad (yes?), or have you LCD rkp,which would be displaying something.

just to finish, how old is the ctrl backup battery and are you currently in a service agreement?, I ask because it may need your engineer in to reset it.
