help what is the problem??

w reg ka had problems with it loosing power and cutting out, was told it was the fuel pump had that changed, when driving it, it started doing the same then it wouldnt start so had to leave it on the roadside, what do i do now keep spending money on finding the cause or scrap it ive had enough
