Mend Ideal 537/i Combi Boiler Fault Code Heating

how to fix 537/i combi boiler?

presssure is at 2 temp is 40 untill tap goes on and it drops. water comes on warm then goes cold. fault display message is EA which is no pilot light. how do i turn that back on???

boiler is....
-failing to ignite
or
-failing to detect ignition
or
-gas supply problem
or
-flue problem
or
-condensate blocked
or
-pcb problem

could be any one of these
would have to systematically check & eliminate them

you dont have to dismantle the boiler to check
just use visual & auditory clues

can you hear the fan & pump spinning?
can you see/hear sparking?
