programme guide not displaying prog info and not recording series?

My programme guide on Thomson DB250 has suddenly stopped displaying programme information and will also no longer record a series. It also only displays four days when selecting the day from the green button. I have checked to see if the always ask option is set and it is. The problems have occurred without warning. Any ideas?
