Should my tub in my GE washing machine flop?

After having no success in getting my GE washing machine to stop dancing around the floor, I removed the lid to inspect the suspention system. I found that the tub flops all over the place, so that any load whatsoever will unbalance the machine. Can I fix this, or should I just call in a repair man
