my GE dryer makes a noise that it wants to start but it won't. what can be happening?

Had same problem before. Engineer reset thermostat. Same thing has happened again. I think it is only a button to be pressed inside lid, trying to find out.

darren sounds like the dryer element has gone they are not bad to fit situated under the lid on top of thr machine in a housing any more probs msdapudsey1@msn.com
