I have a 2001 vw t4 transporter running ok till the offside indicator bulb went. So i thought change both for new ones and keep one left as a spare.Job done..... no. At first started ok now the warnig lamp for gloplug does not illuminate on dash and she wont start. Any ideas as ive gone back over everything I did prior
Ok have a look on the inside of the offside inner wing panal an there should be an inline fuse connecter it may be inside a plastic protection box. The water get into the box and corrodes the terminal connections and this is the fuse for the glow plugs if I remember it is a heavy 40amp I ended up cutting out the connector and crimping on 2 insulated (Yellow colour) female terminal to the wires to plug the fuse into.
