Maytag mdb8959aww2 Flashing lights?

Hi, I've been without a dishwasher for a month now and it's driving me nuts. I've looked everywhere online but can't find anyone with the exact problem. all of a sudden mine stopped running and had blinking lights. and wouldn't empty. I was able to get it to empty after cutting the breaker for a few minutes then it went back to blinking. Now it either blinks "Steam" or "Normal" "Steam" and "Cancel". does anyone know what these error codes mean? of course Maytag was of no help, they'd rather send one of those repair men out that supposedly never have anything to do. I've kept em busy with my washer, drier and dishwasher. Pretty sure I'd never go Maytag again nor suggest it to anyone.
