Mend Maytag LSG1000 Washer Dryer Sensor

Maytag LSG 1000 (washer / dryer combo)?

Maytag LSG 1000 / washer / dryer combo:
The washer's H2O level becomes too high when on the "large load" setting; I'm worried that it will eventually overflow so when loading I stand there to watch it. It never used to go this high before.

When on the rinse cycle, it only allows for 2 minutes.

For both issues I'm thinking that a sensor or computer chip or control panel might be the problem.

What do you think?
