with setting on cold wash stops after first wash cycle starts beeping must reset to start setting also goes to hot also hot water comes in to washer on cold setting

Sounds like you have the hoses set up wrong. Check that the hose from the cold tap is connected to the cold inlet & hot tap to hot inlet.
