Thanks for the thanks. By the way if checking the heater resistance remove the lead from at least one side of the heater to prevent 'back tracking' other circuits and giving a false reading. If its easier you could just run the wash and check the power consumption (about2.5kw) if you have a consumption display often supplied by elec suppliers, or of course just check door glass to see if it warms up. If it does warm up but takes 2 hrs probably control unit fault Cheers

Possibly element fault check if you can with meter on resistance setting should be between 25 and 35 ohms, if ok could be control unit not turning it on or just control unit fault Cheers
