Mend ALDI CP-0011 Long Charge Battery

How long for initial charge of battery?

Just purchased a CP-0011 portable speaker from ALDI. User guide contains no instructions. I need to charge up the Li-ion battery for the first time. How long should I charge the battery since I've heard that initial charge must be done properly!

I rang After Sales Support I was told aprox 3 hrs.
You ca'nt over charge I was told.
If you run it via the usb it will charge at same time.
