My Hotpoint Aquarius HD420 does not complete a programme?

First check that the cold fill hose isn't kinked and that water is coming from it when it's disconnected and the tap is switched on, and make sure the tap is still working. This one of the most common faults with machines that stop during the rinse cycle.
Then if that's all OK you can check that the cold fill solenoid valve is working. Switch the machine to a rinse or cold wash programme and if it fills OK then the solenoid valve is fine. This is best done with the hot supply tap turned off. If the problem doesn't appear to be either of the above then it may be best to get a local engineer out to take a look.
