Mend Hoover Belt Vacuum

replacing belt on old Hoover upright vacuum?

How can I stretch the belt from the brush to the
power head? It is tight.

assuming you have the correct belt and its the flat type put it on the motor pulley first then onto the agitator brush and push the brush into location, if its the old junior or 912 put it on the brush first and then on to the motor pulley (with the flat type you could heat it a little with the hairdryer)
