Fuel lines for craftsman hedge trimmer model 358795640?

I may have the fuel lines reversed. Right now I have the small line going from the primer bulb to the tank with a small adapter on the tank end. The other fuel line (larger diameter) goes from carburetor to the fuel filter inside the tank. Trimmer will not start. Craftsman model number 358795640

the large 1 is right, from carb to filter u should have also 1 from carb to primer bulb and 1 from primer bulb to tank.
the idea is that the primer bulb should pull petrol through filter to carb into bulb and then return to tank.
