Mend Craftsman Bushwacker Motor Hedge Trimmer

frozen motor on hedge trimmer?

I used my Craftsman Bushwacker electric trimmer about a week ago - ran just fine. Went to use it yesterday and the trimmer will run a few seconds and then freeze up. If I keep trying the motor gets REALLY hot.
