Mend Ariston LS 603 Unable Door Dishwasher

Ariston LS 603 - unable to open door?

Loaded dishwasher and set to programe 1
Switched on, programe started with water fill, all appeared ok.
Returned later when programe cycle had finished.
Tried to open door - 'locked' tight !!
Removed top panel and front door panel - but unable to access the door catch.
Any ideas ?
