Mend Kohler CV25S Flywheel Spark Engine

how can i fix a craftsman 917251572?

the magnets on my flywheel came loose and damaged the stator. I replaced stator and flywheel now I have no spark. the engine is a kohler cv25s. I adjusted coils to .010 gap. I disconnected wires on coils and still no spark. I have been told that doing prior test proves bad coils. How can both coils just stopp working.
