Mend Kohler CV23 Fire Years Started

Lawn mower cranks, but won't fire?

I have a gravely ZTR, 3 years old. I started the mower, engaged the blades, went approximately 30 feet and the engine died. Both fuel tanks are full but I cannot get a fuel flow to the carbueretor. The fuel filter is fine but I cannot even get fuel to the filter. The engine is a 23 horsepower Kohler command.

I've been using my troy built for about a year with no problem, now when I start it the engine has this sputtering sound until it dies out, when I start it again it runs until it die out ,but sometimes the engine will rev-up for a few seconds and then start slowing down again and then stop or just run with a sputtering sound.
