theres a strange alarm or siren thats started going off but i cant turn it off wth my key i just had to start and rev the engine for it to stop. it'll go for 30secs(ish) off 2 secs and back on about 5 times
if it matters , my central locking stopped working suddenly 2months ago
I have exactly the same car only it's 2004 model, i've been told to turn ignition on for 15 secs then disconnect car battery for 3 mins reconnect and it should solve the issue (you'll need radio key code tho) i am going to try it myself and report back.
