Euro mini alarm?

I too remember shorrocks and zitons,got the list for Yorkshire and humberside somewhere.

Meaning their safe and rest assured they haven't fallen into the wrong hands :),

Before I forget there are Cos. out there that use the PCX & don't have problems.

Please list the 'perfect control panels', there aren't any. All have had problems of one sort or another. Haven't been around much have you?

The Cos. I've mentioned have all had problems over the years.

Don't bother mentioning the lower end stuff, I've never touched it, other than well before the 9100 (Scantronic, if you don't know) then everything was 'low end' compared to to-days, apart from the Shorrocks panels that is.

PCX 256 is ok?,

Any engineer with only half of brain would know the pcx256 AKA meridian is a load of rubbish.

The RPK,s fail prematurely(buttons),the panel is slow in response and the engineering (nightmare).

The engineering manual is inaccurate and contains several conflicting points which has caught even the most experienced engineer out.

And god help you if you try to get through to pyronix tech (hope you enjoy the sound of the dialing tone).you're straight through to castle.

Sounds like acorn is an g3/4 man and knows nothing about the higher end multiple zoned panels.

Ps I don't take being bested by you or anyone else who doesn't know what he is talking about.

errr pyronix ar'nt the best panel in the world and just because it isn't showing battery status doesn't mean the battery is good.

Ignore this clueless and change the battery as suggested by acorn, mains off first before you attempt the replacement :)

Take no notice of acorn he obviously now's nothing about the cct euro,

If it were a battery fault then it would say so!

Get someone to check the sounder and it's wiring.

Just replace the BATTERY, that's all the problem is.

Rechargeable batts. do not last forever, as you have just found.
