I assume that the car wont start, (due to the different systems that are on vehicles you'll need to be more specific , model year, engine size/ code symptoms, is the engine turning over? etc )Try this first to get you started, turn the ignition on till the dash warning lights are on but don't start the engine, check the engine management light (small orange engine with the lightening bolt in the middle) if its flashing your immobiliser isn't getting the signal from the transponder in the key, if so the chip is probbably missing from your key (dropped you keys recently?) if so you'll need a new key blade or you may need a new receiver on the ignition barrel, try your spare key if you have one, if the lights not flashing it could mean an number of things could be engine management or sensor related ( not nececeraly an immobiliser fault but with the same effects, Hope this is some help, please post more specific details to try and narrow down the problems likely cause...Thanks.
