Mend Bosch VE-24 Times Charge Days

what is up with my drill ?

Bosch 24v VE hammrdrill
I have only used my drill 3 times from new I put it on charge overnight but didnt use it until a couple of days later.When I came to use it smoke came out of it and itwouldnt work at all
