Berlingo Radio Not Working. No Display on Dash Panel. ?

My berlingo radio does not work. It doesn't even display on the dash. All leads are connected at the back of the unit along with all fuses working fine and tested. The CD player makes a sound and will accept and dispense CD's fine but won't play.
There is also a problem with the internal electrics whereby the internal lights will sometimes switch themselves on and off.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
