I HAVE A OLD FORD RADIO CASSETTE RDS2000 WITH BACKLIT LCD UNIT,IM WONDERING IF I COULD USE THE DISPLAY OUT OF THIS RADIO AND REPLACE THE SCREEN ON THE 7000 MODEL WITH IT
I don't know the answer, my own display has ceased showing anything but the back light although the radio, cd and tape and controls work fine. Problem is I cannot see the LCD text so if I ever loose power to the unit I will not be able to recode it as I cannot see the numbers that have been selected. Have you had any help with this?
