how can I fix my lamona 8360 dishwaswer?

my dishwasher is making a whooshing sound like compressed air or steam escaping and although it;s still washing and drying dishes I have to try and switch it off immediately as it just keeps getting hotter and hotter as if the heater wasn,t switching off.the draining board above it gets REALLY hot,and the cycle is very much quicker than it used to be . Im afraid it will catch fire. anyone else had this problem ,its a Lamona 8360.I'm a disabled lady who really needs her dishwasher but the noise and heat scares me in case of fire ! can anyone help PLEASE !!!
