Mend Not F Error

not an le error, but an upside down F E error?

Anyone see this weird error?

However the upside down f E fault code you have, is indicating a thermistor error.
The thermistor should measure between 2.5k and 180k ohms.
You will need an multimeter to test the thermistor.
Set the meter to the ohms setting and measure the resistance across the terminals.

The thermistor/temperature sensor is located at the bottom front area of the drum.

The top and front panel will have to come off to access the thermistor.

Many times,

The FE error is basically a fill error,

this usually means the machine is taking in too much water,

the machine detects this as a overflow and throws the code up.

where the cold fill water pipe connects to the washer, inside the machine is a valve, this valve opens and lets water into the machine.

sometimes this valve sticks and doesn't shut off,so the machine senses this as a over fill, hence the code.

The error code can also present itself in reverse, meaning the washer isn't getting the water at the fill stage, sometimes the h20 error pops up but is quickly cancelled out by the FE error,

meaning no water is entering the machine due to less than 5bar of water pressure,or the same valve isn't opening.

If the valve is operating as it should then the pressure switch/ sensing device within the washer has faild.
